Christmas Card Parade 2013

Christmas Card Parade 2013

This card was from my friend Donna, I loved the simple design,
this picture doesn't show how pretty it really is.

I love the homemade cards I received this Christmas.
This month at classes you will get to see
them up close to see the techniques each person used
to make their special card.

You will vote for these 3 categories
1. Best use of Stampin' Up! supplies
2. Best use of a technique we have learned
3. The card I would like to receive and why

Thanks for letting me share some of the cards I received with you,
Cindy

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas
2012
t
This is one the Christmas cards, my daughter made
this year.  For those of you that have met Emily she
professes to hate card making, but as you can see  she
has a great eye for color combinations and style.  Emily
had seen the Believe card we made at the November classes
and wanted to change it up to her liking using the Ornament
Keepsakes stamps.

This was a card I cased from Melissa Stout.

I wanted to share with you two styles of the Gift card holder
we made at classes this month.

Thanks for stopping by, Cindy

Happy Thanksgiving 2012

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to share one of the 2 different sets of inserts the ladies
made at our Stamp camp with Donna and Cindy a couple of weeks ago.
Stampin' Up! gave us the opportunity a few weeks ago to purchase
these great printer trays left over from the fall recruit promotion.

I loved the Halloween words insert from the promotion tray, so I decided to
go to new MDS2 and make a  Thanksgiving insert for our Fall theme
tray.   This was a fun way to use all the digital stamps and sayings that
I had on file.  The new coloring tool made it very easy to put different
colors on the same stamp.  After the design was finished I ordered these as
card fronts and insides, so when the cards arrived I cut them apart making 2 inserts
for our trays from each card.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween!!!!!
I wanted to share a few last Halloween projects with you.
Stampin' Up! gave this printer tray and kit to decorate for Halloween to every
demonstrator who added someone to their downline during August.  All new
downline members also received one with their 1st demonstrator order.
I decided to change mine to a more whimsical look using the
Googly Ghouls stamp set.

What do you give a couple that was married on Halloween?
You guessed it, a very cute card of a
couple celebrating their anniversary
Halloween style.
This super cute card was made by Lucy Rucker
for a couple of friends celebrating a anniversary.

Team Bat Cave members Courtney Gibson and Nancy Bates brought
these cute gift giving ideas to our last team meeting, I just loved them!!!!!

Thanks for stopping by,
Happy Stamping, Cindy

October Class Cards 2012 Stampin' Up!

This just might be my favorite fall card this year, I completely cased
this card from Lee Conrey.  I loved the simple design with a little bling,
we do a lot of embossing and sponging to highlight the textures of this card.

Ok, you are right it is fall and I love fall colors so why are we
making a card using spring pink or yellow?
Because I love polka dot Designer series paper, and it just happens to
be on one side of the Howlstooth & Scaringbone designer series paper.
I wanted to show you how versatile the designer series paper is,
most packages can be used for multiple card ideas.
This card was a combination of ideas from both
 Lisa Young  and Jeanna Bohanon.

This card idea came from Shari Fritz, she used 2 of the products
in the special from Stampin' Up! this month, the
Ornament Keepsakes stamp set and Holiday Ornament framelits.
This month if you purchase a combination of the
Ornament Keepsake stamps, Holiday Ornament framelits
and Candlelight Christmas Specialty Designer Series paper
you can get the Festive Paper Piercing pack FREE!!!!!

Our Technique of the month is Faux Diamond Dust,
which you make your own glitter paper.
I got my inspiration and instructions for this card  from
Robin Merriman.
If you live the Zanesville, Ohio area and would like to join us
to make these beautiful cards you have 3 different classes to choose from.

Christmas Stamp a Stack 2012

These are the cards the ladies that attend my Christmas Stamp a Stack classes
this season will get to choose from.
The Merry Christmas card was cased from a card I received
in a Rising Star Holiday catalog swap that Judy Garza designed.

This card was cased from the same swap it uses the Stampin' Up!
Watercolor Winter stamp set, I added a few pearls and switched the bow
but used the same colors and the new Cherry Cobbler  Core'dinations card stock.
Sorry no name was on the back, so I don't know who to give credit.
This fun card was cased from Jill Hilliard, I loved the simple easy design.

After searching for a simple design using the stamp set  Evergreen, I decided to
design one myself using traditional Always Artichoke and Cherry Cobbler card stock,
with matching seam binding and the Lacy Brocade embossing folder.
The accent was a star from the Champagne glitter paper.

This was also a cased card that I loved and can't find the designer.
Gumball Green and Real Red are the perfect Christmas color combo.

One of my downline ladies Lisa Seagro noticed
the Snow Swirled Stamp set and the Candlelight Christmas
designer series paper coordinated well together so
I decided to combine them for this card.   Did you notice
I had red rhinestones on my tree?  They are Stampin' Up!
clear rhinestones that I used a red Sharpie marker to color,
it worked perfectly for a beautiful accent.
This was also a cased card using Be of good Cheer
Designer series paper and Chock- Full of cheer stamp set.
Author unknown, please email me if you see your card so I can give you credit.
This was cased card from Sandi MacGiver
using the Christmas Blessing stamp set, I didn't change
anything I liked it just the way it was.

These two cards were inspired by a card from Sarah Wills, I loved the Early Espresso and vanilla card stock with the  Early Espresso Core-dination paper.

Thanks to the ladies that inspired me to make these Christmas cards for my Holiday Stamp a Stack,
if I posted one of your cards without your name please leave a comment and I will update this post.

Would you like to join  us and make a total of 10 of the above cards?
